Beyond the Horizon, 2010

Have you ever
Wondered
what is
Beyond the
Horizon?
A perceived straight Line,
manifested by the
Limits of
Sight
Land and
Sea,
Sea and
Sky -
Can we ever be
Free
from all these
Classes that
Separate?
Dualities and
Boundaries
make for a
Narrow
Vision, but
Partiality
is not the
Way of
Peace,
Freedom, and
Happiness
If we can't believe our
Eyes,
then what can we
Rely
on?
Something is
there,
yet it is
not
what you
see.
Delusion comes
at a
Cost -
How many times
have we been
Misguided by
It?
Mistaken Perceptions
caused by
hanging on to the
adage:
'Seeing is
Believing'?
Being Present with the
Limits
of the
Senses,
along with all the
consequential
Relativities that
Language
impose;
Have you ever
Questioned
what is
Real?
Nobody knows
what lurks
behind the
Horizon -
the fate of
Tomorrow
First Light of Day
Here
is Last
on the
other side of
the Globe
Perhaps from high
Above,
one can
no longer tell
where Dawn begins
and Dusk
ends.
What lies
Beneath
the
Land and
Sea?
As Eyes perceive
Permanence and
Solidity,
Particles and
Waves say
otherwise.
How far does the
Earth
stretch?
How wide
is the
Ocean?
Oh, questions that
can't be
answered by
mere
numbers,
by one who
knows.
Birds flying
Beyond the
Horizon,
how high can they
soar?
What do they see; and
What secrets have they
Unravelled,
to share with
Fellow
Humankind
on the
Ground?
Nature with all its
Untold
stories,
a treasure trove on the
Mysteries of
Existence,
in every
phenomenon -
So Close, yet
So Far,
Evident, yet
Elusive,
Humbly Graceful
in all its
Mighty
Grandeur
Wings take birds
up, up, and
away;
above and
Beyond -
they seem
Free,
but
are they?
Look at
Us:
Alas!
Lost Vagabonds,
in thirst for
Spiritual
Nourishment,
in hunger for
the Truth -
desperate for a
Way
Beyond
In Silence,
as
Momentary Awareness
arises,
Wisdom reflects
itself
upon
Stillness
Wings,
Oh, Wings!
From the fertile
Groundlessness
of the
Heart,
Wings will
Grow,
as
Love
Flourishes,
Door
Opens,
Petals
Bloom,
Walls
Collapse -
and
Infinity
will
pronounce,
proclaim,
and
e c h o
Itself.
